FAQ
Everything you need to know about our Nail Wraps, Gel Nail Wraps and Press-On Nails.
Our Products
Three product lines, three ways to do your nails — Nail Wraps, Gel Nail Wraps, and Press-On Nails.
What are nail wraps?
We sell three main types of products.
Self-adhesive stickers made of real nail polish. They stick to your natural nail and give a salon-quality finish in minutes. No UV lamp needed.
Similar to our Nail Wraps, but made with real gel nail polish. They stick to your natural nail and cure under a UV/LED lamp (120 seconds) to give a harder, longer-lasting finish.
Nail extensions made from state-of-the-art MABS soft gel. Supplied with both glue and reusable adhesive tabs, so you can wear them for two weeks or pop them off and reuse them later. Perfect when you want extra length for that WOW factor.
How do I apply our products?
Each product has its own application method.
- Nail Wraps — peel, stick, file, top coat. No UV needed.
- Gel Nail Wraps — peel, stick, file, cure under our UV/LED lamp for 120 seconds, top coat.
- Press-On Nails — prep your nail, then apply with brush-on glue (2 weeks of wear) or reusable adhesive tabs (shorter wear, reusable).
For full step-by-step guides for each product, see our Application & Removal hub.
How many are in each pack?
| Product | Pack size |
|---|---|
| Classic Manicure | 16 wraps |
| Classic Pedicure | 16 wraps |
| Gel Manicure | 20 wraps |
| Gel Pedicure | 32 wraps |
| Press-Ons | 30 or 32 nails (varies by style) |
How long do they last?
Wear time depends on the product and what your hands get up to. Whichever you choose, we'd always suggest changing every three weeks and giving your natural nails a little time to breathe — your nails are jewels, not tools.
Up to 2 weeks with proper prep and a Holy Grail top coat.
Up to 3 weeks — UV curing gives the hardest, longest-lasting finish of our wrap range.
Up to 3 weeks. Press-Ons are also reusable when applied with our adhesive tabs — buy more tabs here.
Are your products safe for people with gel allergies?
Don't contain gel and are safe for those with gel allergies.
Made of gel, so be cautious if you have a gel allergy. Many of our customers with a gel allergy are still able to use them — the gel is completely dry, no wet gel touches your skin, and only the adhesive on the back of the sticker is in contact with your nail. Everyone is different though, so we always recommend a patch test.
If you have a gel allergy and want to wear our Press-Ons, use our reusable adhesive tabs instead of nail glue. Standard nail glue contains acrylates, which can trigger reactions.
What top coats do you recommend?
Holy Grail top coats only. Sticking with our own top coats is the most reliable way to keep your wraps sealed and chip-free.
We recommend using our own top coats with all our wraps. Third-party top coats can cause compatibility issues — we can't guarantee they'll seal the wrap properly or stop it lifting.
- Magic Gloss Top Coat — no UV needed, glassy finish. Works with Nail Wraps.
- Ultimate Shine Top Coat — UV-cured for maximum durability. Works with both Nail and Gel Wraps.

Do you sell extra reusable tabs for your Press-Ons?
Yes — buy extra adhesive tabs here. You'll need fresh tabs each time you re-wear your Press-Ons.
Do you sell extra glue for your Press-Ons?
Yes — our Brush-On Nail Glue is designed to work with our Press-Ons. The brush applicator gives you a neater, more controlled application than a squeeze tube.

Application & Removal
Prep, application and the safest way to take everything off.
How do I prepare my nails for application?
Good prep is the difference between a manicure that lasts and one that lifts. The same prep works for Nail Wraps, Gel Nail Wraps and Press-Ons.
- Wash & dry — wash your hands with dish soap to strip any oil, cream or sunscreen, and dry thoroughly. Anything oily on your nail surface will stop the adhesive bonding.
- Push your cuticles back — by hand, or with a few drops of Cuticle Magic.
- Lightly buff — a quick pass with a Buffer Block creates a slightly textured surface so the adhesive grips better.
- For Press-Ons only — wipe with alcohol — use the alcohol pad included in the Press-On pack to dehydrate the nail surface.
When applying, never let the product overlap your cuticle or skin — that's where lifting starts.
How do I get the best adhesion (Nail Wraps & Gel Wraps)?
- Size down — choose a wrap very slightly smaller than your nail. Anything that touches your skin or cuticle will lift.
- Press, press and press again — once it's on, rub firmly all over the nail to seal the adhesive. Don't forget the corners of your nail bed (a wooden cuticle pusher helps).
- Seal with a top coat — use one of our recommended top coats to lock everything in.
- Stay dry for 4 hours — avoid water for at least 4 hours so the adhesive can fully set. Showering and bathing are fine; use washing-up gloves if you're tackling the dishes.
How do I get the best adhesion (Press-Ons)?
Press-Ons are a different game. The biggest fix is the angle of application.
- Prep + dehydrate — follow the prep steps above, then wipe each nail with the alcohol pad included in the pack.
- Apply at a 45° angle — start at the cuticle, then roll the Press-On down towards the tip. This pushes air bubbles out instead of trapping them under the nail.
- Press for 60 seconds — apply firm pressure across the whole nail (not just the centre — the edges matter most).
- Save thumbs for last — easier to control the angle on every other finger first.
- Stay dry for 1–2 hours after applying.
If you want maximum hold with glue, use the “sandwich method” — a thin layer of glue on your natural nail and a small dot on the back of the Press-On.
If you're using adhesive tabs, warm them with a hairdryer on a low setting for 10 seconds before applying — it primes the adhesive and makes it noticeably tackier.
What should I avoid when applying our top coats?
We recommend sticking with our own top coats for the most reliable results — third-party formulas can shrink, react, or stop the wrap sealing properly.
Using a Holy Grail top coat (Magic Gloss or Ultimate Shine):
- Apply in thin layers — thin always beats thick.
- For Ultimate Shine, wipe any excess off your skin before curing under the lamp.
- On Gel Wraps, make sure you cover the edges of the nail — that's what stops chipping.
Using a third-party top coat:
- Avoid quick-dry top coats — many of them shrink as they dry and pull at the wrap.
- Test it first on one or two nails before doing a full mani.
- Nail chemistry varies — if a non-UV top coat isn't holding, try a UV-curable one (or vice versa).
How do I fix small chips? (Nail Wraps & Gel Wraps)
Small chips and tip wear are easy to patch. File off the chipped or worn area, then reapply a thin layer of top coat — your mani gets a new lease of life, often for a few more days.
How do I remove my Nail Wraps or Gel Wraps?
Never peel. Peeling tugs at the surface of your natural nail and causes damage. Always dissolve.
Option 1 — Magic Remover (recommended, fastest)
- Buff the surface of the nail to break the shiny top coat.
- Paint on one generous coat of Magic Remover and leave for 5–6 minutes.
- Scrape off with a cuticle stick or pusher.
- Repeat if you have multiple layers of polish/top coat.
Option 2 — Acetone (Nail Wraps only)
Nail Wraps come off with standard nail polish remover. Gel Wraps need to be soaked off (Option 3).
Option 3 — Soak off
- Soak a cotton ball in acetone-based remover and place it on your nail.
- Wrap with tin foil to keep it in place.
- Repeat for all 10 fingers and wait 15–20 minutes.
Option 4 — Oil method
Saturate your nails with coconut, olive or baby oil, then gently lift the wrap from the cuticle end. Don't pull too fast.
If you've already peeled and damaged your nails: moisturise often, use Cuticle Doctor twice a day, consider biotin and a nail strengthener, and let the damage grow out before applying wraps again.
How do I remove my Press-On Nails?
Never force them off. Forcing damages your natural nail — always soak first.
Option 1 — Press-On Remover (recommended)
Use our Press-On Nail Remover for the easiest, fastest results.
Option 2 — Hot water + oil soak
- Soak nails in hot water with a dash of oil for at least 15 minutes.
- Slide a cuticle stick under the Press-On from the side until it pops off.
- Clean any remaining glue with nail polish remover.
- Moisturise hands and apply cuticle oil.
If you used adhesive tabs — soak nails in warm water for a few minutes, then gently push the flat side of a cuticle stick under the nail. Tabs come off cleanly, and the Press-On can be cleaned and reused.
Tips & Tricks
Pro-level tweaks for longer-lasting wear and a cleaner finish.
How can I make my Nail Wraps and Gel Wraps last longer?
Three things make the biggest difference:
- Cap the tips — when you apply your top coat, take it slightly over the very tip of your nail (the “free edge”). This is what stops tip wear.
- Use a UV top coat — for Nail Wrap users especially, upgrading to Ultimate Shine Top Coat gives you a much harder, longer-lasting finish than air-dry top coats.
- Apply before bed — the adhesive sets hardest while you sleep, undisturbed by water or activity.
What's the trick for filing wraps cleanly?
- Cut the wrap a little past your fingertip — leave a small overhang.
- Fold the overhang under the tip of your nail and let it set for a moment so it sticks to the underside.
- Once it's set, start filing — always file downwards, never upwards, at a 90° angle. If your nails are too short to file, use clippers.
Pro tips for a salon-quality Press-On manicure
A few extra tricks for getting the longest, most natural-looking wear out of your Press-Ons.
1. Prep is priority
- Push & trim — gently push back your cuticles and trim any excess skin. This creates a larger surface area for the nail to grip and stops the Press-On lifting at the base.
- Dehydrate the nail — use the alcohol pad in the pack (or a 70% isopropyl wipe) to remove all natural oils and dust. This is the most critical step for longevity.
- Light buffing — a very light buff creates a slightly etched texture so the adhesive bonds far more securely.
2. The adhesive game-changer
- Switch to brush-on glue — our Brush-On Nail Glue applies just like nail polish, evenly and without bubbles or mess.
- The “sandwich” method — for maximum hold, brush a thin layer of glue onto your natural nail and a small dot on the back of the Press-On.
- The 45° angle rule — always apply starting at the cuticle at a 45° angle, then slowly press down toward the tip. This pushes air bubbles out instead of trapping them.
3. Application secrets
- The “no water” zone — avoid water for at least 1 hour before and 2 hours after application. Nails are porous; if they absorb water they expand, then shrink later, breaking the glue bond.
- Pressure is key — once the nail is on, apply firm pressure for 30–60 seconds. Don't just press the centre — make sure the edges are sealed tight.
- Heat it up (tabs) — if you prefer adhesive tabs, warm them with a hairdryer on a low setting for 10 seconds before applying. The heat primes the adhesive and makes it significantly tackier.
4. Expert maintenance
- Size matters — if you're between sizes, always size down or file the sides of a larger nail to fit. A Press-On that's too wide and touches the skin will pop off almost immediately.
- Nighttime routine — apply your Press-Ons right before bed. The glue gets a full 8 hours to set without being disturbed by water or activity.
