What Are Semi Cured Gel Nail Wraps?
Unlike ordinary nail stickers or strips, semi cured gel wraps are made from genuine gel polish. You might also see them called semi cured nails, gel nail strips, gel nail stickers or gel wraps: they are the same thing, and the "semi cured" part is what sets them apart. The gel is partially cured (about 60%) during manufacturing, which is why the wraps arrive flexible. Once applied and cured under an LED lamp, they finish hardening on your nail and bond for long-lasting wear. How to Apply Semi Cured Gel Nails
- Prep: push back cuticles and wipe nails clean and dry.
- Pick a wrap that matches each nail width.
- Peel, place at the cuticle line and smooth outwards, pressing out any air.
- File off the excess at the free edge.
- Cure under an LED nail lamp until fully hardened.
How Long Do Semi Cured Gel Nails Last?
With proper prep and a full cure, semi cured gel wraps last up to 3 weeks. Clean, oil-free nails before application and a complete cure under the lamp make the biggest difference to wear time.
