Having purchased my first set, Gel French Manicure, and loved those I was looking forward to trying these out.
I love the finished article however I found these difficult to fit right and looking right. Compared to the French Manicure set these are a lot thicker in consistency , probably due to the glittery finish, and I found it not so straight forward to trim the edges off as they kept bending back and I can also feel the thick edges which I couldn't on the other set. I still love the look of them, but I'm not sure these will as long as I'm catching them already.
Don't use as your first ever set! I used on my second but hadn't perfected the application yet and they fell off after 2/3 days. They need extra pressing to nail and lots of downward filing to secure to nail and seal edge. Think the formula on these needs them to be lamped twice as they are still quite bendy/squishy after 60 seconds. I vowed to return before I wrote the review and am super pleased with them! Now on my 5th(ish) set and love the gold glitter! So many complements! I don't do all my nails in this as I prefer just a splash of sparkle not a blinding (unless special event) I mix this set with jewel in the crown (leftovers from previous complete set) and latte and i think they look great! This set has been on for 10 days now with no issues!
